June is bursting out all over!

Well hello there Chinas!

Yes June has sped by so far! what with the CU Ball and us all looking very dapper in our fancy frocks!

Then there was Sports day! Where Castlehill Baptist won the 18 and under netball tournament! (again pretty much thrashing all the other teams, but they didn't win by as big a margin as the Kirkintilloch under 25 team, we won one of our games 10 to 0!) oh yeah, i was a traitor for the day playing for the Kirkie under 25 team and helping them to victory! but here's the CBC winners!

Then there was my holiday and general 'taking time out of doing everything except relaxing and being a tourist' week in FUNdee (happy angela? i didn't call it Scumdee!) i'll post some gorgeous St Andy's photos at some point, but cameras are all mucked up at the moment! lol! Friday night was skiing at Xscape with the BB, again it was amazing and i managed to get into the swing (little ski joke there!) of things quickly and worked hard on perfecting my parallell turns! i even managed to go over a jump once or twice!

Frenzy was on Satuday and it was brilliant! I even drove through to Edinburgh, which was good fun! (and thanks to the guys who were driving the other cars for keeping me safe!) Favourites this year were Starfield and of course David Crowder (i think they were better last year, but still loved them!) Hillsong were alright, but i'd heard their talk before when i saw them last year in Dunfermline, that was slightly disappointing, but i think a great day was had by all! Bring on Frenzy 2007! (and hopefully Switchfoot in August! woo!)

Monday was trip 2 to Edinbugh, this time for Cat's 'surprise' party. 10 of us met up had a picnic in the rain in Princes Street Gardens, and then went for a walk in the sunshine. The sun did come out but it was extremely windy, so much so that it blew over an empty glass when we were sitting outside at The Hub, that was scary, so we moved inside! After a mad dash to the station for Gillian, Lins and Sharon to get the train back Cat, Allan, Ann, Russell and i sat and had a nice ice cream in Princes Street Gardens before i got the train back to Glasgow to have dinner with the family for Stuarts 23rd Bday!

After some ironing (whilst watching the Italy vs Ghana game!) i sat down properly for the first time since Thursday! but then i fell asleep and dad woke me up to tell me to go to bed!

Today was my first day of Step Out Plus training (and day 3 in Edinburgh)! I finally got to meet the whole team, i already knew noel, but i met Gareth, Ailie and Daniel today, they all seem really nice people and i think we will have a whole load of fun over the summer! as well as all the challenges that will face us along the way! I will maybe blog more about the training tomorrow night as right now i need tea and then a good sleep before day 4 in Edinburgh for more training.

Good night and God bless.

hello jillian! i'm in glasgow! woohoo! i just asked sammy how to describe where i am... i didn't really understand her (lol... still having a problem with the accents!!!! not with the people my age, but the younger kids are so hard to understand! i'll get better, though.) apparently, i'm on the north side of town near the centre of town... in one of the high rise buildings. does that make sense? getting a mental image? lol. i hope you're doing very well. :) ~amelia

I cannot belive how small this world is! I did a Step Out mission in Springburn 3 years ago with Gena, and Mandy's sister Molly was over that summer and did the missions in Wigtown with us as well!
If you get this on Friday (30th June) r u busy 2nite? u have my home number and my mobile number, if all else fails, Peggy has Gary's number and Gary has mine! (Gary is the guy who is organising our Step Out Plus)
